SonarQube Server Year In Review

The latest SonarQube Server 2025 Release 1 wraps all those changes into an LTA (long-term active) version, which will remain active for one year. We've added a few new powerful AI capabilities to the 2025.1 LTA since the SonarQube Server 10.8 release.

  • Automatically detects the presence of AI-generated code from GitHub Copilot
  • Easily see which projects have AI code and are protected by AI Code Assurance
  • Displays real-time AI Code Assurance quality status of projects containing AI code
  • Compare AI Code Assurance protected projects with other projects in a portfolio
  • Automate AI Code Assurance configuration across multiple projects via API
