GENEVA & AUSTIN – MAY 28, 2024 – Sonar announced today that Derek Drennan has joined as Chief Customer Officer, responsible for enabling customers to achieve the full value of the Sonar solutions to ensure high quality and secure software that is a business asset. Derek joins Sonar’s go-to-market team, under the leadership of Lynne Doherty, and will oversee customer onboarding, training, and success. Derek will also work to build out the company’s technical advisor capabilities to better support customer engagement as part of the company's global expansion efforts.

Derek has more than 20 years of experience leading customer teams, overseeing customer success and onboarding, and support services. Derek has held various technology executive roles at GitHub and Microsoft, focusing on customer and client support in their DevOps transformation. In his time at GitHub, he helped drive the adoption and consumption of services that supported company growth to a billion dollars in annual revenue.
