The SonarQube ecosystem is used everyday by thousands of developers around the globe to track their technical debt. This ecosystem is built around a platform and supports the analysis of more than 20 programming languages. All these products are advertised on sonarsource.com, sonarqube.org, sonarcloud.io and sonarlint.org and their build process is supported by a suite of Web-based tools, developed in-house.

The Tooling team, composed of front- and back-end developers, is looking for a talented Web developer passionate about providing the best user experience on public facing corporate Web sites and internal products.

The impact you can have

As part of the Tooling team you have a concrete impact on the Web presence of the organization as well as on internal products used by your colleagues everyday.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Develop interactive and responsive design to use across platforms, devices and browsers
  • Interact with UX Designer to improve the User Experience
  • Work with modern Web languages and technologies
  • Play a key role in the team in identifying creative approaches or solutions
  • Actively promote collaboration and teamwork to ensure best team results
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Development teams

The skills you will demonstrate

  • Proficiency in public facing Web development
  • Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES2015 and React - nice to have: Prismic.io
  • Comfortable with agile practices and principles
  • Strong interest in source code quality: tests (unit and functional) and continuous integration
  • Self-confident enough to challenge the status quo as well as receive feedback
  • Open-minded and very positive can-do attitude
  • Fluent English both written and oral

  • For technical roles only, qualified candidates will first be asked via email to take a technical assessment named Codility
  • For all roles, selected candidates will be invited to 30 min video session(s) with one or two members of the hiring team
  • Then, candidates will be invited to come to our offices for half a day or so, to complete a technical interview with the hiring team, followed by a meeting with the people & culture team
  • Finally, candidates will potentially be asked to schedule a 1h final interview with our CEO
