Today, SonarSource, this is a talented and diverse team of 85+ professionals from 18 different nationalities and we need to grow faster! To help us reach our ambitious growth plans, we have opened a brand new role for a full-time in-house recruiter. The Recruiter Geek will likely enter the existing People & Culture team composed of 2 passionate members based in Geneva - we are lucky to operate in a rather flat and flexible organisation so this point will be discussed once we will have identified the right profile and skills set. The role can be based either in our Geneva, Switzerland headquarters or in our recently opened Austin, Texas office.

The mission of the recruiter is to partner up with the teams in their recruitment by extending their capabilities (sourcing, nurturing candidates, refining positions…), as well as by defining and implementing the recruitment strategy for SonarSource.

The impact you can have

  • Manage the recruitment cycle from A to Z in collaboration with the hiring teams: help define the need and align on the mission, draft the job requisition, manage postings and job boards, screen CVs, phone screen qualified candidates and help coordinate and prepare for interviews
  • Use Lever (ATS) to help smoothly manage the recruitment cycle
  • Actively source for the main critical roles, both IT and Sales, and bring value in starting, developing, and nurturing a talent pipeline
  • Help continue building the hiring strategy and play a key role in the employer branding, working closely with Marketing
  • Be a company ambassador at the relevant conferences, meet-ups or other specific events that would bring value

The skills you will demonstrate

  • 2 to 5 years of recruitment experience in the software development field
  • Strong experience and passion for sourcing IT profiles - Sales and Marketing a plus
  • Pragmatic strategic thinker, able to operate the daily tasks as well as step back and think big for SonarSource
  • Self-starter and natural leadership to provoke and lead changes
  • Strong listening skills
  • Talented in building and managing relationships
  • English is the only required language

In the meantime, we want to give you a heads-up on our hiring process:

  • For technical roles only, qualified candidates will first be asked via email to take a technical assessment named Codility
  • For all roles, selected candidates will be invited to 30 min video session(s) with one or two members of the hiring team
  • Then, candidates will be invited to come to our offices for half a day or so, to complete a technical interview with the hiring team, followed by a meeting with the people & culture team
  • Finally, candidates will potentially be asked to schedule a 1h final interview with our CEO
