We are hiring an additional Product Marketing Manager as part of our growth plan in Sales, Marketing and Consulting. The Marketing team currently has team members based in Geneva, Switzerland and Austin.

The impact you can have

As a Product Marketing Manager at SonarSource, you will have a strong impact in defining the market position within the context of the overall product strategy. One of your main missions will be to increase adoption of SonarSource products.

As a member of the Marketing team, you work side-by-side with Product Management, Sales and Marketing in order to deliver a product experience that exceeds customer and market expectations.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Conduct competitor analysis, market research and translating technical capabilities into customer-facing messaging
  • Build a strategic messaging reference that can be used for content creation and go-to-market campaigns
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiate our products in the market
  • Bring out products to market and drive adoption - including helping Sales with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful

  • Proven experience in software product marketing, ideally in an open source company
  • Technology savvy, driven by logic and focused on continual progress toward a goal

The company was created to develop the open source tool SonarQube, which is now the standard in code quality management with over 85,000 instances deployed today.   • For technical roles only, qualified candidates will first be asked via email to take a technical assessment named Codility
  • For all roles, selected candidates will be invited to 30 min video session(s) with one or two members of the hiring team
  • Then, candidates will be invited to come to our offices for half a day or so, to complete a technical interview with the hiring team, followed by a meeting with the people & culture team
  • Finally, candidates will potentially be asked to schedule a 1h final interview with our CEO
