We are very pleased to announce that Fabrice Bellingard has joined SonarSource.

Fabrice was previously the CTO of Qualixo, the company developing open source Squale. Fabrice has been leading development and research on the Squale project for the last 5 years.

Fabrice is also committer on Maven project since 2006 and committer and PMC on Archiva project since 2008.

We are very pleased to announce that Evgeny Mandrikov also known as ~godin has joined SonarSource.

Evgeny is one of the greatest contributor on the platform. Since one year, he has contributed to Sonar core and to numerous plugins such as Build Stability, Emma, JIRA Issues, JaCoCo, SCM Activity, Twitter, LDAP, Crowd, Flex, Groovy and Hudson. Evgeny is also leading the sonar-ide project.

Evgeny is also committer on the Hudson project.

Here are some highlights of what happened during this first year of existence :

• SonarSource has received an Open Innovation Award at the Open World Forum for its innovative open source business model
• The adoption of Sonar during the past year has been massive : more than 20,000 downloads
• A dynamic community around Sonar has built up, with more than 20 plugins
• There were 7 major releases of Sonar, i.e. a release every 6 weeks

Three months after the creation of the company, SonarSource launches its web site to support companies that need Professional Services around Sonar : Commercial Plugins, Development On Demand, Consulting Services and Professional Support.
