PL/SQL plugin 1.8 released

The new version fixes 5 issues in total :

  • Highlight PL/SQL syntax
  • Add a way to deactivate false positive violation by using the comment line –NOSONAR
  • Toad process should be automatically killed by Sonar when the execution time exceeds a configurable limit
  • Add a property to skip execution of Toad CodeXpert
  • Change licensing mechanism

Views plugin 1.2 released

The new version fixes a critical bug when changing the key of a root view and solves 3 issues in total :

  • Renaming the key of a view does not propagate properly
  • Cannot find snapshot after the purge
  • Upgrade to SmartGWT 2.0

Identity plugin 1.0 released

The Identity Plugin 1.0 has just been released. The plugin enables the delegation of Sonar authentication to an external system. The plugin currently supports LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory connectivity.

Master Project Plugin 1.0 released

The Master Project Plugin 1.0 has just been released. The plugin creates a master project in Sonar that is the computation of all projects under quality control. Not only the master project gives a consolidated view of the projects portfolio, but also it offers all existing services on the consolidated project : hotspots, cloud, consolidated violations….

Views plugin 1.1 released

The new version fully supports security (Sonar 1.12) to handle access control on views. It resolves as well two issues of the version 1.0 :

  • Admin page should prevent entering invalid characters
  • Views do not get deleted when they are suppressed from the admin console

  • The adoption of Sonar during the past year has been massive : more than 20,000 downloads
  • A dynamic community around Sonar has built up, with more than 20 plugins
  • There were 7 major releases of Sonar, i.e. a release every 6 weeks

Views plugin 1.0 released

The Views Plugin has just been released and enables to create any kind and any number of aggregation trees. Here are few examples :

  • Recreate inside Sonar the company internal organization : projects can be grouped by applications, applications by team, teams by department…
  • Group projects by type : libraries, web applications…
  • Separate legacy projects from new ones

SonarSource wins an Open Innovation Award

The Pinguin On 2 October 2009, during the Open World Forum in Paris, twenty companies innovating in the Open Source sector had an opportunity to make a 6-minutes presentation to Venture Capitalists and major systems integrators to promote their company and projects.

They also competed for the “Open Innovation Awards” that was awarded by an international jury of experts to the five most promising businesses innovating in the Open Source sector.
